We didn't. Turns out R.T. has opted out of running ABC's new comedy, Miss/Guided, due to creative differences. However, we did run into Chris Lowell, aka Veronica's Piz, who gave us a little Private Practice scoop. Turns out, his character, receptionist Dell, is working very closely with Kate Walsh's Addison, as he decides early in the season to pursue a career in midwifery. Have to tell you, Chris was more than adorable, and our little chat will be its own blog item later this week, so keep your eyes open for that!

São Paolo, what's up! (That's where Kristin's Joao is from!) Anyway, according to Kate Walsh herself, "There's going to be some drama and some funny for sure, but I think instead of more surgery focus like Grey's, this is a group of doctors. They're not interns or struggling to compete in the surgical world and get their specialties and residencies and all of that. These are people who are successful in their professions. They've chosen their careers. They've chosen to become part of a private co-op of doctors in this old-fashioned way of medicine, doing house calls and really treating patients. And yet it's in Santa Monica, in California, and there's a lot of Botox and a lot of fun and funny. I think also that all of the characters are sort of at crossroads in their lives. They're all sort of starting over in some way or another, so that'll be a lot of interesting, fun stuff to do."

Also this fall, Kate will star in “Grey’s” spin-off “Private Practice,” and Kate says the show is going to raise temperatures!

“There’s some sexiness, I’m not going to lie to you!” Kate said.

So will hunky “Grey’s” star Patrick Dempsey be making an appearance in the series?

“I don't know yet,” Kate said. “We just got the first script, and I haven't seen McDreamy in it yet.”

But Eric Dane, also known as McSteamy, told “Extra” he would love to guest star beside Kate, and Kate agrees!

“Well, you know, he is a plastic surgeon,” she said. ”What better place to set up a practice?”

The spin-off of Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice was McPlugged in the spring when Grey's devoted a half an episode to its introduction. A series that follows Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) as she exchanges her umbrella for sunglasses, the show is set in a Los Angeles clinic. Backed by an all-star cast, zealous fans, and excellent writers, Private Practice, Wednesdays at 9 on ABC, has the potential to make perfect.

Ausiello: Yes, but it concerns the spin-off, Private Practice. Another role is being recast — this time it's Naomi's daughter, Maya.

In episode four of the Grey's spinoff, Private Practice, Tim Daly's character, Dr. Pete Finch, shows up Addison (Kate Walsh) when he magically cures a patient of hers who was unable to have sex due to a medical condition—and chances are Dr. Feelgood has a cure for what ails Addy's sex life as well. Look for a chemistry spike between those two characters right about then...
